Currently the bigs pen that houses Forrest, Penelope, Alaska, Lottie, and Wilder has a pretty big field that we would like the goats, sheep, and cows to have access to, so they have more space to graze. This means we need to expand the big's pen into the forest to make sure they still have ample space to move around, plus they'll love to have a new area to explore.
Here's a breakdown of what we'll need in order to complete this project:
660ft of fencing - Approx $600
110 poles - Approx $450
500 fencing staples - Approx $60

In 2026 we are launching our birthday club! It will be a chance for anyone to sign up to receive a free sticker and card from us on their birthday!

Later this year we want to launch a store on our website so you can get some cool gear while also supporting our residents! We plan on having t-shirts, tote bags, cards, stickers, and prints!
Keep your eye out for when we announce this launch!
Here are some of our designs

Currently in the spring and fall our front yard and main paths can get pretty muddy. Little pig feet and those rooting snoots really do not help. Though it has gotten better in recent years, we need to get some gravel down and better drainage in to fix the problem.
We're still working out prices for this, and we won't be able to get it done until the quarry thaws in spring.
We are very excited for this next step!

We have five big boys who need to be fixed. When we had the rest of the boys fixed this past fall, these guys were too big and would require too much medicine for our vet to do it on location, so these guys will have to go to the Atlantic Vet College in PEI.
The five boys that need to go are brothers Samurai, Small Fry, and Split, and father-son duo Bruce and Richard.
Bruce and Richard will probably be able to go together as they don't tend to fight, the other three boys will have to make the trip separately to ensure there is no fighting in the back of the van.
Each neuter costs $360 plus $80 for a microchip (mandatory if we do not want to tag their ears). We also need to pay the toll to leave PEI, which is $25 a trip. Gas will also be about $100 a trip.
In total to have these done it will be about $2250, we will be holding a fundraiser for this later in the year, so keep an eye out!
